Flour
Pudding
Children love this game, and most adults do to.
It's best to play it with at least 6 people.
- First you need a dry Pyrex basin or bowl
- Next fill the basin with flour (you'll need a large bag), pressing it down as hard as you can and smoothing
off the surface.
- Put a flat board over the top, turn the basin upside down and carefully turn the mound of flour out onto
the board. You might need to tap the bottom gently with a knife. If the pudding is cracked or unstable put it
back in the basin and repeat these steps.
- Put some newspaper on the floor and put the board with the pudding on top carefully onto the floor.
- Place a ring in the centre and on top of the pudding.
- Take it in turns to cut a slice from the pudding, using a sharp knife.
The objective is not to let the ring fall down from the top.
The person who makes the ring fall when the pudding collapses has to pick it up in
their teeth.
As you can well imagine, this can make quite a mess and is great fun!
