Menus From Abroad

Christmas dinner is traditionally eaten on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and Turkey is one of the most common dishes served. It is historically a lavish and sumptuous feast and is similar in many ways to the traditional sunday roast.

Whether you are simply interested in what other countries put on the Christmas table, or you want to enjoy some of the foods that your ancestors did it can be helpful to look at Christmas menus from abroad.

The point is that every culture and every region of the country celebrates Christmas differently. So much of this holiday is centered around the food that we eat at the traditional Christmas table.

Just because it’s different than what your family has enjoyed doesn’t mean it’s right or wrong. As a matter of fact, it can be interesting to try out different foods each year to keep things interesting.

What I like to do is create my Christmas menu by selecting my favourite Traditional dishes from around the world and serving a truly Global Feast!
